Technical description of the slag crusher

Roll crushers are primarily used to crush slag and larger slag agglomerates from the boilers of the power plants or the heat plants. The crushers are installed directly behind the slag reclaimer under the boiler and they are equipped with one or two toothed crushing rolls. The crusher design is adjusted to the process of wet and dry storage of slag with a material size up to 30 mm. The output lumpiness is given by the design arrangement of the crusher rolls. The use of special materials for the crushing elements prolongs their service life and simple machine design reduces its failure rate and maintenance costs. The machine dimensions and weight enable easy handling when moving on traveling wheels.
