  2. Technical description of aftercooler

Aftercooler consists of ribbed pipes ø57x3mm material class 12 (CSN). Rib thickness of 1.5 mm and a height of 25 mm are made of a material class 11 (CSN). Finned tubes are installed in a steel box, which has outer thermal insulation.The thermal insulation 60 mm thick is protected by sealing sheet. Finned tubes are welded to the inlet and outlet water chamber, DN150, which is made of a material class 12 (CSN). 


Flue gas flow transversely to the ribbed tubes. With the regards to media flow the aftercooler is countercurrent. Whether there will be clogging pipes, the aftercooler can be proposed sectional, to enable the intercostal spaces pipes easier to clean. Cleaning ribbed tubes can be made of steel wires, compressed air or pressurized water. If flue gas clean enough, then it is maintenance-free operation of the chillers.
